I took my 52 1/2ton in for a lube job today. When they lifted the truck up, the rear part of the front spring separated from the shackle by about 1 inch. Is this normal? It looks like the leaf has a u-shaped bend that goes around the bottom part of the shackle. The end doesn't look like it's broken. The one on the other side looks about the same, but it didn't separate when it was jacked up.
Looks kind of scary to me.
