Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Anyway I split the intermediate u-joint to pull the driveshaft so I could replace the clutch. Reason for the clutch work is a serious chatter when starting from a stopped position. Especially in reverse. I found that the drive shaft has over an inch of play in the middle support. Is that supposed to be a snug fit there? If so then I'm thinking that could be causing the chatter. Still looking for a drawing of that middle driveshaft carrier. | | |
