#63160 07/18/2006 1:18 PM | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 7 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 7 | I have a 700 R4 from an '83 Caprice, It was rebuilt shortly before I pulled it out of the car so I know it works and is reliable, my question is since the car had an ECU (computer), does this transmission need any modifications to run without the computer? If so what needs to be done? As always any links to this information are appreciated.
