Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 119 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 119 | Here's what I did: I fabricated some 3/4" steel spacers to raise the mounts where they set in the frame. I also needed to fabricate a steel spacer between the mounting point on the transmission and the cross-member to shim something close to a good engine angle. I drove the truck for a while allowing the actual cross-member to float in the mounts. Bad idea.
