Life spent only in Wilton, NH. Owned by service garage when new. Many of the employees of the garage are still in town. Truck is original except that the bed was Fleetside and I am returning it to a Fleetside. Purchased Dec. 2006 from third owner for $500. Have had a lot of fun finding parts. Truck was a plow truck, so frame was a real treat... 292 4-speed, big back window, custom package, cab lights. Original wheels were painted the same color as the truck. Have discovered that option was $3 per wheel. All sheet metal is complete and painted. Assembly coming soon.
At car and truck shows vehicles can be dedicated to a person who is deceased. Often wondered what that was about. Our daughter was tragically lost in a car accident 8/11/2008, my dad died 8/3/2009. Now the vehicle is dedicated to these two. Sorry no photos between purchase and the current state, work continued but photos were not easy to take, didn't seem important.
