Hey ya'll....I'm Robert, live in Texas, and just started a restore on a 59 Apache 31. My grandmother bought it brand new for my grandfather in 1959 for $1900 at Mahan Motors in DeLeon, Texas. He had it until 1967 when he sold it to my dad. Dad lives in the same town as I do, so I've grown up seeing this truck. He's not a truck guy though, and he got tired of the once-a-month startups and also wanted his space back in the backyard, so I bought it for $1 (offered him $2000 but he wouldn't take it).
