I have had horrible luck with spray paint, I now paint everything with my spray gun. For brackets and frame parts I use single stage paint I mix myself at work. It sounds ridiculous but honestly it's not that bad. I have found spray paint to be very brittle after it is in the weather for a few years. I feel that the single stage paint lasts longer because of the hardener that is added in the mixing process. Of course most of you live in the south and I live in New England, that's probably the problem. When I do use spray paint (which is not very often) I reach for duplicolor.
