| | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 81 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 81 | How difficult is it to replace a heater motor on my 62 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup? The present motor is original on a factory installed heater and is visible right below the glovebox in the cab. The old electric motor sounds like the bearings are going outwhen it first starts up then works fine in all three speeds. I just want to replace before it locks up. LMC has a new motor for about $50. Thanks for any suggestions on how to go about replacement!! EDABBS
