Len - aside from that coil spring under the handle, note there's a small amount of adjustment possible in the triangular mounting of the relay, it may not be moving quite far enough when you open it - also make sure the cover panel isn't binding the relay arm, originally there was a bit of felt or something to let things slide smooth without rattling
