1950 3100. Does anyone have pictures or info on the small parts and seals to put the parking brake shaft back together. This is the curved round shaft that goes from the pedal through the floorboard and is part of the holding mechanism for when the brake is set. This shaft was never in my truck so I do not have a frame of reference. The parts I have are: a shouldered washer, a spring, another flat washer, a rectangular leather type washer and a square thick felt/rubber pad. All of these go over this shaft somewhere. I believe the thick felt pad is the bumper that goes on the end of shaft on the engine side of the floorboard. The assembly manual does not give a great picture or explaination and because the manual deals with 54's, it may not be entirely accurate for a 50. Any assistance would be appreciated.
