I'm restoring my pedal assembly right now, and just removed the rubber pedal pads. They were steele products from years ago. I noticed that the steel pedals were cast with non skid steel treads. My question is, when the truck was new were the pedals just steel faced with no pedal pads. It appears that way. I also can't tell the original color of the pedals. i'm guessing they were black, but I don't know for sure. I'm trying to do a very correct restoration. Thanks.
