dbt Wrench Fetcher D Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 41 E. WA state	I have the cowl data plate on my '46 1.5 ton. Today I cleaned the nice, machined flat rear of the distributor expecting to find an engine number, (which may have been VIN at one time). NO number; smooth flat. So did they number all engine blocks? OR, as I have read in the past, could I just have a replacement engine and no one bothered to re-stamp the block?? Dennis
