| | | | Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 41 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 41 | Jim, that makes good sense to me. I had read over on GMC that replacement engines often were not stamped. So in a good way, it might be a better chance this engine will run.
Next I have to find where the casting numbers are on the block. Head should be pretty obvious. This engine is REALLY caked with a mix of field dirt and grease. Almost have to chip it off.
