I have a 52 on a 79 short bed frame the hardest part was the cab location it took along time to get it right. The front wheelbase is a little wide but reverse rims help. I would look for a whole doner truck. You will be able to use all the brake clutch and steering parts with a little work! Leave the front clip on when you hang it over the new frame. I had to use a electric fan in front of my raidiator.Keep in mind your bed will need to line up also running board length and level. My truck is almost ready for paint. I am taking it back apart now so i can shoot it all over.Let me know if i can help its a lot of work but worth it.GOOD LUCK!
