Hello, I am in need of some help here and any information will be appreciated. I have a 49 Chevy ½ ton truck that my brother-in-law and I recently worked on. We took off the manual transmission and all of the linkages. We encountered a problem when we went back to reassembling the clutch. While the transmission shifts gears normally, my problem is that the actual clutch pedal wobbles when I press it with my foot. It does not press in straight. It feels flimsy. There seems to be some play where the clutch shaft goes through the floorboard. Am I missing a bushing or something? I hope that I am explaining myself? Has anyone had this problem before? Like I said earlier, any help would be appreciated.
