Ferndale53; I agree the transmission is likely stuck in neutral however something prevents the shifter from putting it into a gear. This is most likely caused because one of the shift forks not aligned in the neutral position. The rust I see in your pictures could easily have caused this problem. When the shifter is in does it move door to door direction smoothly or do you feel resistance?
