Got a 230 6cyl. Oil light not going off after cranking. Oil pump is just a few years old. OK.. Follow my logic(more likely my lack thereof) If I put a new oil Filter on (dry, w/out pouring any oil into it first) then crank the motor and let it run for 15-20 seconds, then kill motor and remove brand new filter. My question is then, if the filter is full of oil does that mean the oil pump is working. Is that evidence enough?
