Samwise is correct. Anything any everything you'd ever want to know about the 6's at inliner's, and a great group too boot.
One other source that might be of help, depending upon the vintage of that 6 you're working on is the VCCA (Vintage Chevy Club of America) website and forums.
Can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to find whatever answer you seek here though.
