Seriously though, look at your cab mounts and your engine mounts first, it would be a shame to alter the floor pan if you don't have to. Replacing the cab mounts isn't a big deal and shouldn't throw off the geometry on the fenders.

I like the idea of using a cakepan! If not, fab up what you need with a welder!
