For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 28 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 28 | Hi, Here's my problem: I have a 1953 6400 2 ton truck. I "think" I have a 235 in her. But the casting number which is located on a machined pad between the distributor and starter has the following stamped on the pad " LEAI029985". The character after the A looks like a capital I. I have been to several sites that have casting numbers and I don't see anything remotely close to what I have. Can anyone help me solve this? Thanks. Phil Stewart
