| | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Sounds like you have the stock 9 3/8" Eaton differential, which was used in open driveshaft form from '55-'62. Most common gear is 3.90, although there was a 4.11 and 3.38 available as factory options. The code is stamped on the front face of the 3rd member on the right hand side. Here is the spot the number is located.
