Honestly, I'm thinking about a 350 with a TH400 or a 700R4. I'm also considering a modern 4.8L with a 4L60E Trans. I think that would be about 285 - 300 HP between the two motors.
Got any photos of the detroyed rear end?
Did the housing just come apart?
