I'm new at this and I don't even have a shop manual yet... Anyways, I am in the process of stripping down my 53 1/2 ton. Engine is out and at this point I need to remove the driveshaft from the rear end torque tube. Is opening the pumpkin the only way to do this? Is there anything I should know before I tear it apart. Note that I will not be using this part as I will upgrade to an open drive donor rear end in the future. Thanks for your help...Mario | | |
