I seem to remember when we changed ratios in those rear ends sometimes we had to use a spacer plate between the crown [ring] gear and the carrier, probably the spacer plate was duplicating the dimensions of the other carrier. I don't know how to tell the difference between the two carriers, but I would imagine they would have some kind of identifying number on them. | | |
