When I was 13 I started working on a farm on the weekends down the road from where I lived with my parents and 4 sisters and 1 brother in Missouri.I was making a whole 1 dollar an hour but I saved most of my money and by the time I was 15 years old I had 200 dollars saved up .Just enough to buy a 51 chevy 1/2 ton pickup.She was rough but she was bought and paid for by me and I drove her for about 2 years.I always like that truck but I had a buddy of mine that had a 41 chevy 1/2 ton ,and I like the looks of his truck a lot better and always wanted one.Well now I am 46 years old and have found a 1946 1/2 ton that I couldnt pass up .She is also in rough condition but I am going to rework her and hopfully have a nice old truck.My plans are to put a 3 inch dropped front axle under her that I have already had Sid drop for me,and a hopped up 261 inline that I have already gotten for her,along with a t-5 trani.It may take me 10 years to finish but it will get done.Here are a few pics.
