| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 15 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 15 | During the conversion from a 235 to a 283 I have discovered that I have no throttle linkage. I bought the truck in pieces a nd have a couple of linkages that I believe where the rigt ones for the 235. I have tried them every way possible and believe that there are parts missing. I don't think they would work anyway. Can I get a linkage out of a later model and if so what years. The motor is a 1965 and the truck is a 1958. I have tried a couple speed shops and they look at me like I'm crazy. I know others have done this. What can I do or where can I get one? | | |
