| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 564 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 564 | I can't help you, because I did it by trial and error when I rebuilt my horn assembly. I do know the metal disc has a slight bow to it, which is where the spring action comes from. The copper "bullet" contact thing has a spring on it too, if I remember correctly.
Here's a tip that WILL help you--disconnect the horn wire or pull the fuse when you put it back together. I did it at night, and my wife finally came out and chewed me out for sitting in the driveway tooting the horn for 20 minutes!
