The raised block casting number you posted 3769716 is below the distributor. Are you sure the number isn't 3739716 because that block casting was used in cars and trucks in 1961.
The number the guys are asking for is a stamped number on a flat machined area just to the left of the distributor. You have to clean off the crude to see it.
