Are you talking to a paint supplier that deals with auto paints ?
You made the comment, What should I ask for. If you were dealing with an auto paint supplier he should be able to explain the different kinds of paints and how they are to paint with.
I say that because that's what we have here. What do you have down there, because it's rather silly of me to answer your questions based on what we deal with up here.
Finding that color might be hard unless you have someone who can custom mix paint and go for a color match and get something that's close.
