| | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | The aluminum gear is sturdier but noisier. You should have replaced the crank gear with it. If not,this also may account for the added noise.
