Hello all! This is my first post as I'm a new member. Question: I recently bought a new 6v alternator for use with my 1946 1.5 ton. I have decided to convert to 12v. Can I take the alternator to an electric shop and have it changed over to 12v? I really don't want to buy a new 12v Alt. and be stuck with a 6v I'm not using. Thanks
