BIG CHEVY 3600 Master Gabster B Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 DALLAS/BLANCO TEXAS	I think the pad on the bottom has a tar like substance on it. The heat melts it and then it sticks to the tank. It's been 3.5 years since I removed mine but I agree with the rest here, get mean with it. ~Jim
