The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk Art Deco questions

Got to looking at my 41 chevy a little closer today and now have more questions. Should the original bed have the same steel strips and wood as in the Advance design? Looked at the transmission,(wow is it small) the mounting bolts to the bell housing, do the top ones go in toward the engine and the bottom ones go in toward the transmission from inside the bellhousing? I looked under the dash,does the dash come out fairly easy? Looked at the window crank assembly, it's different than I've seen, it looks like a cogged wheel driving a wide plumbers tape, is this orignal? Thanks in advance. Dave
