Thanks for the answers guys. I had already posted an ad in the parts wanted.
I just wanted to make sure I buy a seat from the right time period. I've already had some responses, and now I know they would be factory correct for my '47. I'm not suggesting that a Stovebolter would mislead me for profit, just that they might not be aware of these minute bits of trivia. Of course I didn't want to spend a lot of money, only to find out I bought the wrong seat(s).
I also saw some suburban seats in the gallery with pleats, and others that were smooth, with piping. (I have attempted to sort my endless questions out on my own.) Was that a year model change, or a difference between the Suburban, and the more utilitarian panel? Possibly the pleats were custom?
