| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | I had to modify the steering arms to get mine to fit. I built a new adjustable tie-rod and pittman arm and still had to heat/bend them in about 3/8" on each side. It is a slick set-up now though no play and I can dead center the wheel and it eliminated all the slop. I tried the new ends and it was not enough eventually I dropped them and built my own tie-rod. Wheels are off a 3/4-ton 1991 Suburban. http://community.webshots.com/photo/2795914510102454676lGUBwIhttp://community.webshots.com/photo/2672264650102454676llvBqS
