so it's not a "gm 3spd w/ OD", but a Mopar [NewProcess] overdrive 4 speed grin

for the A833 you need the bellhousing that it was on in the Chevy, as the mounting bolt pattern on the trans is the Mopar one and will NOT fit any other GM bellhousing [GM made one specially for that trans] - if the shifter that was on it isn't available you can adapt a Hurst 4spd shifter
