On my 1970 c-30 with the optinal 18"wheels,the inside duallys are white and the outside wheels are black,but the back of the outside rear duallys are white also.the fronts are gray inside and black outside.this is a factory paint job as the original potato farmer confirmed this with pictures that show this the way the factory painted it in 10/8/1969 and the pics were from 1/7/1970.Ironically enough,he bought 10 trucks and 1(one) came through with 18" tires and the other 9(nine) had 19.5" tires.We bought the only 18" we have ever seen in that year(1970) and one of the 19.5" ones also.they both are equipped the same except that the 18 has a 350-4brl and the 19.5 has a 427 big-block.both are stick trucks.Now something i thought was strange was these two are 4spds and have the wierd paint jobs and the other trucks have autos and there rims are battlsship gray rims.inside and out.wierd right.
