Hy KD Kibbe, the throttle linkage for a 1958 V8 Chev truck [55B-59] was all rods and no cables, and is totally different from the throttle pedal out to the carb, from the rods used on the 6 cylinder engines. You used to be able to buy all the stuff as a kit, from various suppliers.
