Well that's a novel idea, but I'm wondering if enough room can be gained for all the work involved.
Should you do it or let a pro handle it. Only you know what you're capable of.

I know what you're saying bout not having enough room, even new trucks don't give me enough room if they are a regular cab.
If it was me and I wasn't afraid of the work I'd punch the cab out to a cab and half, then the seat could go back further and there would be some room for my stuff also.
