the bellhousing and clutch from a 235 wont work on any v8. a 63 up six or v8 bell and flywheel will bolt up but is set up for mechanical release. you can remove the whole torsion bar crossmember and install a coil spring front suspension. I had a 427 in a 63 when i was a kid.
