Dan, I believe that new rubber piece goes into another metal part, I'll have to look at mine and get back to you. These trucks had no rubber around the doors, just the windlace. The windlace is held in place by a metal strip that goe around the door on the inside. Check out my 46 pics, may be a photo good enough showing the windlace. And I'll get you a photo of the other pieces you need, you may need to remind me.
