Submitting my photos and info on my 33 Dump truck for the Gallery. I purchased this truck in June 2009 in Elk Grove, CA and hauled it to my home in the SF Bay Area. It was originally employed by the American River Sand & Gravel Company of Sacramento, CA hauling sand, gravel & mortar (still has lots of white stuff stuck to the inside of the bed.) Later it was purchased and used by a walnut farmer in Knights Landing, CA and retired inside his barn from the mid 1950's until 1987. The guy I bought it from pulled it out of the barn and got it running again, but never got around to restoring it. So far during the past 5 months I've got new tires on it, replaced upholstery and done lots of grinding & sanding of old paint and rust plus a few other mechanical items. The dump bed still works and was made by Wood Hydraulic Hoist & Body Co. (also known as GarWood Industries - same guy that built all those old racing boats.) I've uploaded photos to this site:
