if it looks newer than org,,,if it,s a 4 bolt valve cover 235 full preasure,,if it has captin,s bars above the starter 261..if you are restoring and planning lots of driving go with a late 235 or 261 don,t spend a lot of money on the slinger if that is what it is...doc
