to put that 292 in a 62 is that you are going to either put in the 292 mounting which inc the frame perches from a 63 and up. you have to use 292 pass side specifically as it is particular only to the 292.
you could fabricate an eng mount for the front as per the existing 235 as log as you retain the bellhousing mounting
the 235 bellhousing will not bolt up to a 292 as stated but any 283 bellhousing from that era 60-62 with a pass side hydr clutch setup will make life easier for the installation; they are fairly scarce. therefore you will have to fabricate a clutch setup for the drivers side and any 292 230 250 283 327 348 bellhousing (cast iron) wjth the side mounting will work.
the other alturnative is to use the 63 and up 292 mounting and install an a/t behind it and use a rear trans mount and crossmember. you would have to remove the crossmember whichh goes under the bellhousing.
your best option though would be to find that 283 b/housing with the pass side clutch lever opening. you sould look at the heavier models (60-62 c20-c50) which would have also used a hydr. clutch. some of those larger models may have used a 348 or 409 eng, those bellhousings will also work
