| | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,094 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,094 | There is more to it than just swapping them. The alternator is wired differently, a modern one has an internal voltage regulator. It's not a hard swap, but the wiring is different.
