That said, what other modifications are you considering? What transmission?
The differences between installing an automatic or manual transmission might clarify some of your choices. If using a manual you have some closer to stock options that might be attractive.
Also using that V-8 crossmember is a good way to mount a Chevy 250 inline six which might be a good option for you.
