I'm going to try to reinstall the windshield and rear window today on my 1956 GMC pickup, and in 56 the rear window had a lock strip of rubber that goes in after the glass is in. The 55-59 manual says no sealant and rubber on truck first, then glass. I don't know about 1952, but good luck to you!
