No problems cooling a stock 250 engine. The radiator is thicker then stock and the lower outlet exits straight out instead of the curved outlet of the original. I have mine lower in the housing so the fan will clear the lower outlet, so I can't say if the filler opening is correct for a '37 or not. With the extra hose I had to have on the lower inlet, the whole system holds about 1.5 gallons more coolant then the stock radiator did.
