#59352 04/18/2006 6:27 AM | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,953 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 2,953 | For anyone who cared to follow the tire and vibration posts I have made recently, I took someone's advice and jacked the truck up and ran it to see if there was a difference at 45 mph with the tires off the truck. Initially I left the tires on and watched them roll. There was a good 3/8" bounce in one of the tires and the other was much the same. The rims are okay. I never bothered to take the wheels off after that. So it seems that the cause of this bumping/shake/vibration from 40 - 45 mph is the tires. | | |
