your 57 truck bellhousing should work, mine was a 55. I used the pressure plate and flywheel from the truck tranny, with a cluch disc for an s-10 (thats where the t5 came from. You have to cut the pilot shaft and piece the throwout bearing slides on. This used to be a torque tube, so I used a modern rear and shaft. I had to shorten the shaft.
